Oaks Indian Mission is a partner with Indian people, the Cherokee Nation,and various other tribes, church congregations and individuals who believe in the cause. The Oaks Indian Mission is a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit charitable corporation organized under the laws of the state of Oklahoma and complies with federal and state standards regarding childcare. The “Oaks” is governed by a volunteer Board of Directors whose members are drawn primarily from the Native American Tribes and Nations, the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America, the Lutheran Church-Missouri Synod, and the Oaks community.
