Volunteer Opportunities here at the Mission....
Here at Oaks Indian Mission funds for us to operate are the same as they have been for many years--gifts from individuals, families, congregations, and organizations. In the dictionary, the word volunteer means "a person who voluntarily undertakes or expresses a willingness to undertake a service." Each year we have fund raising events which require many people willing to give their time and patience to help make our annual fund raising events successful. Our next and largest fundraising event of the year will be held on April 21, 2012. If not for our generous donors, we would not be able to give these children the love and support they need every day. We have several different volunteer opportunities to help prepare for this annual event as well at the event itself.
